Welcome to Neuro-Vision Therapy Institute
Neuro-Vision Therapy Institute (NVTI) is a leader in vision therapy, post-concussion rehabilitation, and visual optimization training. Our evaluations go beyond traditional eye exams by testing over 30 visual skills. We diagnose and treat vision disorders by assessing, training, and restoring the neuro-vision pathways between the brain and eyes. The results can be nothing short of extraordinary, whether your goals are restoring your quality of life, enhancing success in school or work, or unlocking peak athletic performance.
About 10% of people have a vision problem impacting school or work performance. Unfortunately, traditional vision screenings miss at least 50% of vision disorders. If left untreated, conditions will not resolve on their own.
Our vision therapy programs treat children and adults with:
- Convergence Insufficiency
- Convergence Excess
- Strabismus (eye turn)
- Amblyopia (lazy eye)
- Learning Issues & ADHD
- Reading & Dyslexia
- Eye Tracking
- Eye Focusing
Vision issues develop in up to 90% of individuals with a brain injury. We are experts in treating vision problems secondary to neurological injuries such as concussion, traumatic brain injury, stroke, and other head trauma.
If untreated, common symptoms can include:
- Difficulty Reading
- Light Sensitivity
- Blurry Vision
- Double Vision
- Motion Sensitivity
- Balance Issues
NVTI will build your own custom vision training program that promotes neuroplasticity to rewire and strengthen how the brain and eyes work together. The success of these programs has inspired many professional sports teams and corporations to partner with neuro-optometrists.
We offer visual optimization programs for improved performance in:
- Precision & Accuracy
- Youth Athletics
- Amateur & Professional Sports
- Reading Speed
- Visual Memory
Dr. Talaber joined the field of neuro-vision therapy after seeing a family member struggle with undiagnosed and untreated vision disorders following a concussion. Unfortunately this kind of situation is not uncommon, and over 50% of vision disorders and deficits are missed in traditional vision screenings.
NVTI’s mission is to create awareness about the prevalence of vision disorders, and the most successful, scientifically validated treatments to resolve them. That’s why NVTI welcomes all new patients with a complimentary consultation with Dr. Talaber before requiring a full evaluation.

Patient Success Stories
“Dr. Talaber is patient, kind, and extremely knowledgeable about my vision issues. I was diagnosed with Esotropia as an adult after struggling with double vision. With her help, I was able to get fitted with glasses that permitted me to drive without seeing double. And they weren't super thick lenses that made me feel self-conscious.”KathyAdult Patient
“I developed double vision after cataract surgery. After just 2 months of vision therapy, I no longer had double vision and was able to stop wearing prism lenses. I am very pleased with the result!”TonyAdult Patient

“Vision therapy has impacted my performance a lot! The way it has impacted me is by helping my eye tracking and eye abilities. When I say eye abilities I mean pulling my eyes in and out. It also helped my reading. I am able to read a good book with large or small print. To sum up my writing, vision therapy has helped me get my eyes on track and made it fun!”AshtonGrade 6
